British Cavalry light machine gun team, France 1914 - GW002

Comprises a dismounted British cavalry team manning a Hotchkiss machine gun. All British cavalry regiments were equipped with approx 2 French Hotchkiss machine guns due to the lack of a suitable British machine gun. These guns provided the extra firepower needed by these lightly armed troops who were often far out in advance of the main force in a reconnaissance role.

Made by Thomas Gun Miniatures. This is a 60mm (1:30th scale) toy soldier set of high quality hand painted metal figures. Limited edition issue of just 150 pieces. GW002 Light Machine Gun team will sell quickly and is one of the first sets in a new range from Thomas Gunn.
