Steiff limited edition bears and characters are highly collectable, each coming with their own numbered certificate or tag, always made of the finest materials. Some limited editions are based bears previously made throughout the long istory of Steiff, others are brand new designs. A Steiff limited edition has white labels with either red or black print. If it is a black ink then the bear is an exact replica of the original, even to the wood shavings used for filling.
